We are happy to announce that our PhD student Iman Hasnaouia Meskini has started a new secondment enabling more collaboration among AIAS partners, a project in which NICS Lab as a part of the University of Malaga (Spain) participates. We appreciate the hospitality of K3Y welcoming our student from the University of Malaga who started her secondment for 4 months, as part of the AIAS Project, where she will collaborate and contribute to WP4 (Adversarial AI detection and mitigation). This collaboration will help to protect and strengthen the resilience of AI systems forcybersecurity scenarios.

This is her second secondment within the HORIZON-TMA-MSCA-SE AIAS project funded by the European Union, where she continues the work initiated during her first secondment at FOGUS on adversarial attack detection. In this phase, she will also begin exploring strategies for mitigating adversarial attacks. These long-term secondments in a SME partner provide her with a broader perspective on the R&D Project from an industry standpoint, while also offering her practical tools to enrich her ongoing PhD research.

K3Y specializes in R&D, developing cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions with a focus on AI, 5G, SDN, and ICS/SCADA systems. Iman’s PhD research centers on applied cybersecurity and AI in industrial environments, making this secondment an excellent opportunity to deepen her expertise and advance her doctoral work.
